May 2 clear and warm, viewed:

First time ever, Coma Berenices cluster - too wide for 27mm, but better with 32mm.

M53 in CB, easy to see.

Found location of NGC5053, but sky was too bright to see it.

M3 in Canes Venatici (close to A Bootes) large and clear, but no granulation in this telescope.

Switched to M51 in CV (near eta UMa) - first time, can see faint shape and two clear condensations.

Lastly, went to Hercules, viewed M13 and M92 for the first time this year. No granulation with this scope. I need to install the new parabolic mirror.
